30 Vintage Recipes: Cakes, Cookies, Candy, Pies & More

Making a vintage cake, a batch of old fashioned candy or finding long lost vintage Christmas cookie recipes is like getting a big hug from grandma, isn’t it?

There’s just something special about retro recipes, especially when they’ve been handed down from generation to generation. I don’t have too many vintage recipes from my own family (especially vintage dessert recipes) so I decided to round up the best from around the internet (big thanks to everyone who shared their favorites)! Some are original recipes handed down from family members, while others are a gluten-free or clean eating twist on the original.

If you’re a fan of retro baking – whether you’re looking for vintage cake ideas, a nostalgic candy recipe, a vintage chocolate dessert or old fashioned pies, you’ll love these recipes!
