Easy Homemade Creme Fraiche

Creme fraiche is delicious in both sweet and savory dishes and super easy to make at home! 

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2-3 Tbsp buttermilk
  1. Pour cream into a jar.  

  2. Add buttermilk and stir.  

  3. Cover jar with muslin, cheese cloth or a towel and leave on your counter for 12-36 hours.  

  4. Once the creme fraiche has thickened, put a lid on the jar and chill in the fridge.
